On November 1, I had the incredible opportunity to join industry leaders and experts in Boston for IMEA’s DE&I Roundtable, an event dedicated to the crucial topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). It was an honor to represent SalesPage and share my insights as the Director of Belonging.
The roundtable featured in-depth conversations on how firms can enhance their DE&I strategies and adapt to evolving industry standards. Presenters from organizations such as EY, Goldman Sachs, MFS Investment Management, SalesPage, and White Marble Consulting led sessions that covered a range of impactful topics.
Connecting with Culture
Representatives from EY shared their perspectives on the current trends, challenges, and priorities within the DE&I landscape. Their insights provided a comprehensive overview of the industry’s direction and the key areas that require attention. I had the privilege of sharing insights on successful DE&I programs that truly resonate with both clients and employees. It was inspiring to contribute to the dialogue, particularly during the ‘Connecting with Culture’ session. The panel also explored why some cultures fail, how to measure cultural health, and the ways in which data can be leveraged to drive meaningful improvements in DE&I initiatives.
Building and Leading Diverse Teams
Goldman Sachs provided valuable insights into recruiting, training, and retaining a diverse workforce. This session also delved into emerging ideas for creating a culture of belonging and inclusion, as well as addressing potential roadblocks and unconscious biases.
